This is a Superior Engineering Hyperflex Hybrid Radius Arm with Drop Boxes Suitable For Nissan Patrol GQ/GU.
Superior Engineering is leading the way again with our latest radius arms design, the Hyperflex Radius Arm.
We figured if one of our Patented Superflex was good then why not run two, and after some testing, we are now proud to offer the Hyperflex Radius Arms.
These arms don't just offer extreme levels of flex for the front of your Nissan patrol, the also handle extremely well on road.
We have completed NCOP approval testing up to 110km/h, meaning the Hyperflex Radius Arms are legal* for use on road throughout Australia.
(*currently testing has only be completed on NON-VSC Nissan Patrol GU and GQ)
The difference with our hybrid design arms over the standard Nissan radius arms is the use of a Toyota style rear bush. This change allows increased life from the rear bush when flexing the arms up off-road, by allowing the arm to flex down without the binding found in the pin style design.
With the arms, we supply the mounting drop boxes that are a straight bolt-in design requiring no cutting and all bolts need for mounting. We also supply fitting instructions and all the bushes are pressed into the arms so you don’t have to.
With these arms, you will get the flex and drivability you need, and longer life from your bushes. Why not have extra flex as well as good on-road handling?
Approved for on-road use under NCOP for GQ and GU Patrols(non-ESC) once inspected by an approved person

Patent No's. 2010100451, 2011904187
Fig. 1 shows the Superior Arm deflecting only 4.1mm under load with real-world load points.
Fig. 2 shows the Competitor's Arm deflecting 24.91mm under the same load points and loads, almost the same as the width of the Arm itself.
Also of note is the Competitor's Arm deflected to a point that may cause metal fatigue over time, which may lead to total failure.
NOTE: Please check ABS sensor lines(if fitted) are free to move through the full range of travel.
Factory bump stops may need to be extended depending on the coils and shock combination used.
Due to the huge variances in different weights of vehicles/heights variances and suspension combinations in
vehicles it is highly recommended to move your suspension in the full range of the
shock absorber compression/rebound travel and also taking into consideration coil bind,
check all areas for clearance issues, if you require more assistance in this talk to one of our sales team for further advice.
This product has passed testing for approval under the NCOP system.

QCOP/NCOP VSB14/VSB6 - When a Superior Engineering product is advertised as approved for use, it has been approved under the QCOP/NCOP VSB14/VSB6 guidelines and a design approval has been produced within the state of manufacture.
While the NCOP VSB14 rules have been technically accepted in many states and a Design Approval in one state is considered valid in another, in Victoria (and some states) an Approval Engineer is allowed to compile any additional data they may feel necessary to satisfy compliance.
As this data is outside the nominal minimum requirements (NCOP VSB14) in most states, this information is to be gathered by the customers contracted approval engineer at their expense.
Superior Engineering has engaged a wide network of Certified Professional Engineers throughout Australia to help customers with the approval processes. These Engineers have immediate access to Superior Engineering’s design and test data and are registered transport approval facilities within their respective states.
Should an independent Approval Engineer require specific data, Superior Engineer asks that they engage our Engineer in writing to contract him to Assess and Compile Engineering information, pertinent to each customer's requirements.
The level of data can vary widely and due to the sensitivity and incorrect use or application of test data, Superior Engineering will often refer customers to Engineering approved persons, that have the information and knowledge to perform the approval in the most effective and economical manner for the customer.
