Fully welded and boxed for strength, the 1/4" steel brackets are low profile for clearance and are finished in gold zinc for a long lasting finish.

Rear Long Arm System

The rear long arm system provides thick 2.0 DOM .25 (1/4) wall steel rear lower control arms with strength that can take abuse with forged threaded ends for the ultimate in durability. The upper rear control arms are 1.5 .1875 (3/16) and formed to provide clearance for up and down travel. The Rear "BOLT-ON" Control arm brackets are formed of 1/4 Steel Plate and angled to slide over obstacles with out catching. This system requires cutting off the factory control arm brackets and is for the Rock Crawler that demands precision when it comes to wheelbase and pinon angles. MetalCloaks Rear Long Arm will feature our best high speed handling properties for on and off-road and will increase a CTI score over similar height DB3 system.

Driveshaft: Due to the long-travel MetalCloak suspensions provide, factory drive shafts will contact OEM components and wear quickly when at the extremes of articulation. An aftermarket driveshaft will be needed.

True Dual Rate Coils: MetalCloak does not recommend powder coating your True Dual Rate Coils. See instructions for additional details.

Suspension Alignment: We recommend you have a suspension specialist align your Jeep once a MetalCloak suspension is installed.
